Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema celebrates 34th wedding anniversary

Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema on Sunday celebrated his 34 wedding anniversary together with his wife Madam Mutinta Hichilema.

The celebration which was held in silence came barely a year after being elected at President of Zambia after outclassing Edgar Chagwa Lungu.

Writing on his official facebook page Hichilema hailed his wife for being there in times of need.

“Grateful for your unconditional love. Happy wedding anniversary, my wife,” wrote Hakainde.

Some people including Malawians took to social media to wish the Zambia’s first couple well.

“Happy anniversary to the President of Zambia #Hakainde_Hichilema & the first lady Madam Mutinta Hichilema . Enjoy this very special day as you celebrate 34 years of marriage.

“May God give you more years and continue giving you more wisdom as you lead the people of your Great Nation Zambia,” Winnie Nyongo, one of the media team for the country’s Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima wrote.
