Strange but true: We put salt in our p@nts as our dad’s snakes are molesting us

The four women, Mary, Shylet, Tambudzai and Perseverance Tsoriyo, allege that their father, Raymond Tsoriyo, uses charms to boost his fortune and that he has some snakes which s.e.xually abuse his daughters.

A Mutare man is currently embroiled in a nasty war of words with his four daughters who are accusing him of causing misfortunes in their lives. According to the daughters, the abuse from the snakes is so bad that they have now resorted to putting salt in their underwear to protect themselves against the juju reptiles. The woman also alleged that their father has owned the snakes for more than four decades and that they have since approached the traditional courts to have the matter resolved.

These startling details were revealed at the Mutare Civil Court after Tsoriyo dragged his daughters to court claiming that they are harassing and abusing him. Tsoriyo is seeking a protection order barring his four daughters from his Hospital Hill home in Mutare.

Mary and Shylet appeared in court in response to their father’s summons. However, Tambudzai and Perseverance were not able to make it as they are based outside the country. In response to their father’s application, the daughters refuted that they were disturbing his peace. They insisted that they only need their father to address the issue of snakes, which is causing untold suffering within the family.

The two women said that the matter was already being looked into by Chief Marange. They begged the magistrate to refer the matter back to the traditional court so that Chief Marange can resolve it. They argued that once the matter has been resolved by the traditional court, they are prepared to appear before the magistrates’ court over the same matter.

Presiding magistrate Notebulgar Muchineripi directed the daughters to serve their father with their responding affidavit and adjourned the case. Tsoriyo’s daughters reported the matter to Chief Marange in February. The traditional leader then seconded a traditional healer, Sekuru Chamunorwa Manyange, to assist the Tsoriyo family. Sekuru Manyange then carried out a cleansing ceremony at the Tsoriyo home where he discovered some alleged charms and paraphernalia associated with juju and the occult.

However, Tsoriyo dismissed the alleged cleansing ceremony, claiming that Sekuru Manyange is a fake traditional healer who planted the paraphernalia at his home. Tsoriyo is also claiming that Sekuru Manyange is being manipulated by his children.
