Botoman mum on Namalomba’s injunction

Zomba Chisi Member of Parliament Mark Botoman is yet to comment on a decision by the court to reinstate Mangochi West Legislature Shadreck Namalomba as Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament Chairperson.

Namalomba was last month replaced by DPP lawmaker for Zomba Chisi, Mark Botomani following a fierce fight over the post of leader of opposition.

When contacted for comment Botomani’s lawyer Wapona Kita said his client is currently scrutinizing the grounds of the injunction.

But could not reveal as to whether Botoman will challenge the case in court or not.

Meanwhile, Parliament is waiting for Attorney General Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda’s guidance on the matter.
