The counting exercise is now ongoing at Forodha house in Nairobi. The security features of the boxes as well as the ballot papers are being scrutinized well before counting.

While counting results from one of the polling station, two governor ballot papers were found in the ballot box. This has created much controversy of how it ended up inside even after counting and removal of stray ballot papers at the polling station. This situation has been recorded and a decision is yet to be made.

The supreme court proceedings were adjourned and they are set yo begin immediately at 2 PM. Azimio la Umoja and other petitioners’ lawyers have already presented their petitions and the task now is for respondents to provide their responses.
