Final Supreme Court Rulling That May Come As a Surprise To Millions Of Kenyans

Millions and millions of Kenyans are continuing to anxiously await with abated breath the verdict of the Supreme Court come early next week. Various petitions were filed in the Apex court to challenge the election of Deputy President William Samoei Ruto and his eventual declaration as the new president-elect.

Being a mere layman in the Republic of Kenya, I can’t prehempnt whatever may emerge as the final verdict from the supreme Court. However, I too can hypothesise on the probable outcome of the above process owing to the current political situation and legal provisions in Kenya.

With many expecting two obviously probable outcome, that is, the nullification of the presidential election results and calling for a fresh one or upholding the election and declaration of Deputy President William Samoei Ruto as the fifth President-elect.

Above being highly likely scenarios, I foresee a possible situation where a surprise rulling may emerge from the Apex court in the land. What if the Supreme Court heed to Azimio team’s prayer of recount and retallying hence eventual decoration of the winner thereof?

Should it emerge that indeed there were election rigging in favour of Ruto although Raila was the bona fide winner indeed and court opt to announce Raila as the new president-elect, what exactly can be the scenario in the country?

I doesn’t really mean that above will be the case but it is just a mere hypothetical observation based on the possible scenarios at Supreme Court’s disposal as per the petitioners’ prayers.
