KENYA – Form three student from Matungulu, Machakos County has reportedly killed self after she was accused of stealing money from other students.
According to sources, the deceased was accused of stealing sh 2500 from her fellow student which she confessed and accepted to return the money.
The deceased was mentioned by most of her colleagues when the incident was being investigated.
The teacher asked the student to get the money during break time and give it to the school administration.
During the break time, the deceased was given keys to the dormitory but she never returned and this is when the deputy principal decided to check on her.
The deputy principal was shocked to find the girl’s body dangling from the roof of the toilet in the dormitory.
He immediately alarted the area police officers who arrived at the scene and collected the body.
The area police boss confirmed the incident and investigations into the incident have already been launched.
The body of the deceased was taken to Kangundo level four hospital morgue awaiting postmortem examination.
