President Joe Biden’s Message Just Hours Before The Supreme Court Judges Give Their Verdict in Kenya

As Kenyans wait patiently for the seven Supreme Court judges to give their ruling on Monday, a lot of political analyst have given their opinions on the expected ruling.

The Supreme Court held a hearing last week and the petitioners and respondents were given an opportunity to make their submissions. The court on Friday ended the court proceedings to be able to prepare a ruling.

Joe Biden, the president of the United States, published a post on his social media handle saying that America respects free and fair elections. He added that the Americans honour the will of the people. “America respects free and fair elections. We honor the will of the people. We do not deny it,” he wrote.

It should be noted that the U.S didn’t address Kenya directly but since we are waiting on the Supreme Court ruling to establish whether the presidential election was free and fair, the post best suits our situation.

The judges of the highest court on the land will vote to come up with a ruling and the majority of the judges’ vote will take the day. The president of the court will communicate the time when the verdict will be made. Stay tuned this and more updates.
