‘They Stole Our Win’ – Raila Finally Reveals His Next Plan Of Action After Ruto Won The Presidency

President-Elect William Ruto is expected to be sworn in on Tuesday next week at Kasarani Stadium. Outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta has promised to hand over power to Ruto with a smile since it’s his constitutional duty.

He however noted that he does not recognize Ruto and that Raila will remain to be his leader forever. The President was speaking during an Azimio meeting that was held in Kajiado yesterday. 

During the meeting, ODM leader Raila Odinga told the members that he had won fairly and that Ruto had stolen his win. Raila explained to the members his next plan of action. According to Raila, the Azimio side is the real government since they are the majority in the Parliament.

He noted that the members should vote for Marende as the speaker of the national assembly. This will allow them to rule the house. He also noted that they are likely to get the majority leader position thus making them the majority in Parliament. He went further and explained that the move will mean that the Azimio team will be running the government. According to Raila, the Ruto government will not be able to pass anything in Parliament without their consent. Mr. Raila noted that they should make life difficult for Ruto and make him pay for ‘Stealing’ their win.
