Zambia VP Mutale Nalumango attends burial of 20 church members killed in road accident

Date:

Zambia Vice President Mutale Nalumango on Thursday attended the burial ceremony of 20 members of the United Church of Zambia (UCZ) in Northern Province.

The 20 members were involved in road accident on Monday morning in Nsumbu District, Northern Province.

Speaking at the funeral ceremony Nalumango said she is deeply shocked with the tragedy.

“How long will I feel so empty? Will this heartache ever end? How long will I have to wait?

“Until we meet in Heaven, my dear friends and fellow labourers in God’s kingdom. Our tears will roll off our faces endlessly, but we know your works shall live forever,” she said.

Nalumango added: “Standing in front of many coffins, my knees are totally failing me.”
