Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Councillor for Blantyre City Soche East Ward Leonard Chimbanga has saluted leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa for reconciling with former Minister of Agriculture Dr. George Chaponda.
Chimbanga remarks follow a move by the two camps to opt for mediation in a case where the two camps are fighting for the leader opposition post in Parliament.
“My Elder Hon Kondwani Nankhumwa is a man of very few words and is loved by many. I salute his efforts to make peace with Dr. George Chaponda. A United DPP is Tonse Alliance’s worst nightmare. If KN like any other candidate emerges a winner at the convention I will give him my full support.
“Now let’s work to fix Chipani. Anthu akufuna Chipani chikhale Champhamvu .It is Botomani who is a troublemaker that I don’t like. Amadelera kwambiri,” wrote Chimbanga.
Meanwhile, it is yet to be seen if the two camps will come into agreement.
