A female councilor belonging to the United Party Nation for Development (UPND) led by President Hakainde Hichilema has been beaten by her married lover for allegedly cheating on him with another married man.
Reports has it that councilor for Katete, Mphangwe ward Elita Nyirenda was in a s3xual relationship with married man identified as Mr. Joe alias British who runs business activities in Katete.
But at the same time she was also seeing another married man in the same area.
On the fateful day, Miss Nyirenda was not home when British decided to pay her a visit considering that she was not answering her phone only to find his mistress’ children. Without hesitation, he went on a quest of looking for his lover.
Along the way, he was tipped by other people that the lady he is looking for is at Pangani Lodge where upon reaching he found his mistress enjoying herself with another married man.
Out of anger and frustration, British manhandled the councilor and she was later taken to a hospital where she spent her night following the damage she got from the beating.
