President Lazarus Chakwera says will address questions relating to implementation of the 2022/23 Affordable Input Program (AIP) in his address tonight.
Chakwera was addressing the press a short while ago at his Capital Hill office.
The President was asked to respond to two related issues; the botched K750 million fertilizer contract and the increase in Affordable Inputs Program procurement from the allocated K109 billion to K188 billion.
He said: “You do not want me to preempt my address.”
Chakwera has today been working from his Capital Hill office since 9am where he met a number of officials including Minister of Finance and Reserve Bank of Malawi Governor.
