PF member Antonio Mwanza lambasts Hakainde Hichilema

Patriotic Front (PF) Media Director Mr Antonio Mwanza has said President Hakainde Hichilema will serve his first term commissioning former president Edgar Lungu’s projects.

Featuring on UNZA Radio today, the Patriotic Front (PF) Media Director said the only thing that made Zambians to kick out PF from government is political violence, perception of corruption and cadrerism.

Mr Mwanza however claimed that the party has rebranded.

“From the time that this government came into office, ba President, Sammy Hichilema, bachaya fyee commission ama projects yakwa Edgar Chagwa Lungu and that is the only thing he will be doing for the next five years,” he said.

“Ba PF, it was that violence, that cadrerism, that perception of corruption. And we have learnt. That is the reason why today ba UPND baletupuma, Mwense, ba UPND baletupuma, Lusangazi….If we had not rebranded, nga bayenda na vilopa lopa bonse baja bafana bamachoka mu Lusaka na njala kuyendo menya bantu…but we have said this doesn’t pay. We are rebranding and if we are hit on the left cheek, we shall give the right cheek.”

Meanwhile, Mr Mwanza charged that there is no culture of ‘ka something’ (corruption) that President Hichilema is fighting.

He wondered why a government that claims to be broke gave mining companies tax holidays.

“Don’t hide that you are fighting the culture of ka something when you yourself you are getting a chi something. How much money goes to that Community House? How much money does the President receive in his capacity as President of the UPND party? From well-wishers? From supporters? From Sympathizers?” he asked.

“What about aya ma tax breaks, tax holidays they have given to the mines? It’s in exchange for what? Why should a government which is looking for money, a government which claims to be broke give away $12billion in excess of tax? In exchange for what? Finshi basenda kuli abasungu for them to give up?”
