Former President Peter Mutharika who is also leader of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) will this coming Friday address Malawians on political and economic challenges rocking the country.
Mutharika’s spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on DPP official facebook page.
According to the statement, the briefing will be held at PAGE house in the eastern district of Mangochi.
The address is scheduled to commence at 2pm.
Oh please, who in modern day times would want Mutharika to be their president? Unless they lost their brain maybe. He should say he will address his supporters because other Malawians who are the majority still don’t want him. He should not try to force himself on people who rejected him already.
The problems Malawi is currently facing were not caused by Chakwera, in fact, Mutharika is one of the causes of these problems-so he should not try to look as if he is smarter and has immediate solutions to the problems. A country that doesn’t produce things for export can not have forex. This has been a trend since Kamuzu left. Free market has also been a problem since Muluzi introduced it, killing companies that were drivers of the economy.
I will be inclined to believe that Mutharika is a wizard that doesn’t want to give space to the current leadership. He needs to shut up because he is not relevant to all Malawians but only to his supporters.
WE DON’T WANT HIM IN THE TWO OTHER REGIONS SUCH THAT HE SHOULD GET IT IN HIS THICK SKULL. WE HAD ENOUGH OF HIS MEDIOCRITY. HE CAN NEVER WIN ANOTHER ELECTION IF THAT IS WHAT HE IS HOPING FOR.
