Grezelder Jeffrey’s mother dies, Nankhumwa shocked

Leader of the opposition who is also DPP Vice president for the South Dr Kondwani Nankhumwa has bid farewell to the remains of mother to DPP secretary general who passed away yesterday in Lilongwe.

Speaking on his behalf, DPP Publicity Secretary Nicholas Dausi gave credit to DPP leaders and supporters that humbled themselves to mourn Gilzerida’s mother as one family.

The ceremony that took place at Hon Gilzerida’ residence in area 43 gathered a number of high ranked politicians within DPP and other parties including UTM Director of Women Annie Makuta.

Dausi also announced a 1.2 million kwacha cash condolence and a bus to take the remains to Nkhotakota.

Notable faces at the ceremony were; DPP central region VP Zeria Chakale, DPP eastern region Hon Bright Msaka, DPP central region governo David Kambalame, Dalitso Kabambe, DPP MPs among others.

The remains of gogo Ketrina Jeffrey who’s journey on earth started on 07 September, 1938 came to an end on 13 November, 2022 and she will be laid to rest tomorrow on 15 November, 2022 in Nkhotakota.
