Castel Malawi hikes beer prices again

Imbibers in the country have to dig deeper in their pocket if they want to enjoy a Carlsberg beer following the price adjustment as announced by Castel Malawi Limited.

The development comes barely few months after the company effected another beer hike and the company attributed the adjustment to scarcity of forex.

According to the new adjustment, an imbiber will be parting ways with MK1,000 if he/she is to buy 330ml bottle of Carlsberg green.

The Kucheche bottle will now be selling at MK800 from MK600.

The price adjustment is with effect from December 1, 2022, according to the statement dated November 29, 2022.
