Malawi’s sensational songbird Estiner Katengeza is set to release her brand new single titled Zokoma ndi Zakuyanja on Friday, December 2, 2022.
In an interview with this publication, Katengeza who came to limelight in 2008 said her brand new single is based on a bible verse Psalms 23 vs 6 which says “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Katengeza described the song as an anthem for her life.
“My new song Zokoma ndi Zakuyanja is based on Psalms 23 vs 6, for me personally, it’s an anthem that I use for my life, it’s the theme for my life that I proclaim that goodness and mercy follows me everywhere that I go,” said Katengeza.
According to Zili bwino hit maker, she has seen the goodness and mercy of God following her in all her doings hence the appreciation song.
She said; “Personally, I feel like everywhere I have been to, in my academic journey, my personal life I have always seen good things happening to me… so I have seen that it’s not really anything to do with me.”
She stressed that the song is simply proclaiming that the goodness and mercy of the Lord follows her despite where she is at that particular time.
She indicated that the song would be available for download on malawi-music.com on its official release from December 2, 2022.
