Member of Parliament for Mzimba North, Yeremia Chihana has asked the Speaker of parliament Catherine Gotani Hara to immediately suspend parliament deliberations following reports that Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director Martha Chizuma was beaten at Namitete police.
Members of parliament are now calling for the leadership of the house to meet and come up with tangible information on the arrest of Chizuma.
Chizuma was arrested in the morning today over leaked audio scandal in which she was discussing work related issues to unknown individual.
