Minister Nancy Tembo apologizes for usandinyanse remarks

Malawi’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Nancy Tembo has apologized for using inappropriate words in Parliament.

Yesterday, during a heated debate regarding the arrest of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General Martha Chizuma, Tembo lost herself and shouted at Zomba Malosa Member of Parliament Grace Kwelepeta.

In her own words, Tembo said “Iwe usandinyanse wanva”

In her apology today, Tembo said what she said yesterday is against her Christian values she upholds.
