Malawi to commemorate anti-corruption day amid Chizuma saga

As the country is yet to be over the arrest of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) director general Martha Chizuma, all is set for tomorrow’s commemoration of Anti-Corruption Day.

According to a statement from ACB, the events marking the day will take place at Kasungu Ground.

This year’s event will be commemorated under the theme ‘Fight Corruption; Protect Malawi’s Future.”

The theme is calling upon everyone to fight corruption and protect the future of mother Malawi to realise its aspirations as outlined in the MW2063.

The bureau, is therefore calling upon all Malawians to report anyone suspected of corruption by calling 113 or sending a WhatsApp message to 0999682053.

This is the day when people all over the world commemorate the work being done in the fight against corruption, reflect on the successes as well as challenges and map the way forward.
