Information reaching this publication indicates that Civil Service United coach Franco Ndawa has resigned with immediate effect.

It is said that Ndawa tendered his resignation letter to Civil this morning.

Civil United Management has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, saying Ndawa has been assigned other duties in the Malawi Army in Blantyre.

“Our head coach Franco Ndawa has left his post and is going back to the Malawi Defence Force,” reads in part the statement.

Ndawa joined Club two years ago.
