Death has been announced of Sydney B.P. Malombe, a student from Malawi Institute of Journalism (MIJ), Blantyre Campus.
This has been confirmed in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
“It is with deepest sorrow that we inform you of the untimely passing of one of our students, Sydney B. P. Malombe.
“Until his death, Sydney was a Diploma Student and Students Union Representative at Blantyre Campus. MIJ has lost a cheerful and dedicated student,” reads in part the statement.
Meanwhile funeral details are still sketchy.
