Man stabbed to death over MK150 in Ntchisi

Police in Ntchisi have launched a manhunt for a man suspected to have stabbed a colleague to death after he allegedly failed to pay him his K150.

The law enforcers have identified the suspect as Chifuniro Chimbalanga aged 24 while the victim is Clement Chifukwa.

Ntchisi Police Spokesperson Yohane Tasowana, said the incident occurred at Mthirasembe in T/A Kalumo’s area in the district last night.

Tasowana said the suspect who is a butcher man was on day selling pork meat in a flying pan at the Trade Centre but suddenly the deceased went there where he picked one piece and refused to the said K150 after being asked by the owner.

The police public relations officer said this did not go down well with the suspect and in the process a fight erupted between the two and Chimbalanga took a knife and stabbed his colleague on the neck, killing him instantly.
