Senior Chief Chitukula booed for saluting Chakwera on AIP progress

Drama ensued at Mgona Community Ground where President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera was launching the Cholera Campaign as people who gathered at the event booed Senior Chief Chitukula for claiming that this year’s AIP program has been a success.

In his welcoming remarks Senior Chief Chitukula lauded President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for making sure that farmers procure fertilizer with ease.

“Tithokoze a President kamba koti ndondomeko ya AIP Idayenda bwino,” said the Chief in front of the President.

But this did not please the people who gathered at the event as some started showering insults at the senior Chief.
“Iwe Iwe Iwe !!!!!!mutu wako sukugwira,” people were heard shouting.

This year’s AIP program has been marred by serious irregularities as some farmers are yet to purchase the fertilizer.
