Mulanje Police have launched manhunt for two men who are suspected to murder Wilson Ntchisi after they picked a quarrel at drinking joint in the district.
The incident occurred on the night of February 25, 2023 at Nakhuto Village at the drinking spree.
According to the deceased’s uncle, Fashion Chisoni said that Ntchisi and friends were known criminals and on the stated date, they all went to a drinking place to enjoy where they had a disagreement there over the proceeds of theft.
In the process, the suspects stabbed Ntchisi where he sustained multiple wounds and was referred to Mulanje District hospital where he pronounced dead on arrival.
Mulanje Police Spokesperson Sergeant Innocent Moses identified the suspects as Diveron Sokani aged 22 and Daniel Chaima aged 26.
Meanwhile, Mulanje police is appealing communities around the district to assist them with any information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.
Wilson Ntchisi was 22 Years-old man hailed from Nakhuto village, Traditional Authority Chikumbu in the district.
