Bushiri honored in absence in South Africa

South African Union Of Churches on Wednesday last week honoured Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and Prophetess Mary Bushiri with special awards for the work they have done in preaching the gospel through planting ECG Churches across the rainbow nation.

ECG Public Relations Officer Ephraim Nyondo confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page.

ECG has about 3.5 million registered members in South Africa with branches, by today, totalling to 125.

The president of the South African Union of Churches, Bishop Alfred Modise underlined that the impact and influence the two prophets have had on the ministry work in South Africa cannot be ignored and unappreciated.

Accepting the awards of behalf of the Prophets, ECG National Pastor for South Africa, Evangelist Fritz said the gesture is welcome as it only cements the legacy of Prophet Bushiri in South Africa.
