NGOMWA SENTENCED TO 35 YEARS IMPRISONMENT FOR DEFILING HIS OWN NIECE

Former Chief commercial officer for Medical Aid Society of Malawi Andrew Ngomwa has been slapped 35 years imprisonment for defilement.
Ngomwa, who was working under MASM was convicted on 24 January, 2022 for defiling and raping his niece
The High Court Judge, Justice Ruth Chinangwa, has sentenced Ngomwa to 35 years imprisonment for defilement, 25 years for rape and 4 years for doing indecent acts in the presence of a minor.
One of the state lawyers, Gift Msume, has applauded the sentence which will run simultaneously.
