Police invades Prophet David Mbewe’s house in Machinga

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that armed police officers on Friday invaded the house of Prophet David Mbewe in Liwonde, Machinga.

The development comes barely weeks after Prophet David Mbewe called for the immediate resignation of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his Vice Dr. Saulos Chilima.

Mbewe accused the two leaders of running the country based on lies.

According to inside sources, the law enforcers invaded Mbewe’s private residence to investigate a number of cases.

Police have confirmed of the development but could not disclose more details on the matter.

Speaking in an interview with the press Prophet Mbewe said:”They came with force and shackled my wife, they checked chasis numbers, but found nothing contrary to the law. I think someone is trying to play a political card. I should emphasize that I pray to the living God, no evil intentions shall prosper.”

More details to follow..
