President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is scheduled to address Malawians from 6pm.
State House Press Officer Anthony Kasunda has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to this publication.
Chakwera’s address will focus on the devastating cyclone Freddy which has claimed 225 lives in the Southern Region, according to the Department of Disaster Management Affairs (DoDMA).
The number of injured people has now reached 707with 41 others reported missing.
