Bushiri’s hired helicopter lands at Chileka Airport

A Private Helicopter hired Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) Church has landed at Chileka Airport.

Speaking at Chileka Airport, Bushiri said the helicopter has a capacity to air-lift atleast one tonne of food and non-food items in a go, which will be ‘long-lined’ to the hard-to-reach areas in Mulanje, where he has adopted over 600 households rendered destitute due to the disaster triggered by Cyclone Freddy.

“This is a K500 million project where all the families in the eight camps will be helped in the rebuilding process. We will give them the household supplies they need and a cash package so that they can start reconstructing their houses,” Bushiri said.

Bushiri has adopted 8 camps in Mulanje district.
