An old woman in Ntchisi District has been found dead within Nandeta Hills on March 22, 2023.
The deceased has been identified as Rute Fulawo who hailed from Nandeta village, the area of Traditional Authority Vusojere in the district.
It was reported that the woman left home on March 20, 2023 for beer drinking in the near by village. After taking the beer she then passed by her garden, however, didn’t return home until March 22, 2023 when she was found dead by herd boys at a slope within Nandeta hills.
The boys reported the matter to the villagers who witnessed it.
Police officer’s from Ntchisi with medical personnel from Ntchisi District Hospital visited scene.
Postmortem conducted has confirmed that death was due to internal injuries.
The Police in the district is advising people to always be alert during this rainy season and check on each other frequently.
