Four Men arrested for series of theft cases in Kasungu

Police in Kasungu have arrested four suspects who stole property worth millions of kwachas.

The suspects have been identified as Mphatso Ngozo Banda, Aubrey Lazimu, Jeremiah Phiri and Timothy Phiri.

Spokesperson for Kasungu Police Joseph Kachikho, has said the four are suspected to have been behind series of theft cases in the district.

According to Kachikho the Police detectives in the process managed to recover three plasma screens, one motorcycle, one min cooker, one hot plate and other assorted items.

Meanwhile police is advising people to identify their properties and also encouraging communities to share information with law enforcers in order to curb criminal activities.
