Woman arrested for failing to account 3.5 million worth of sales at Chipiku stores in Rumphi

Rumphi Police is keeping in custody a 32-year-old woman for suspecting her that she allegedly steal K3.5 million worth of sales at Rumphi Chipiku stores.

Public Relations Officer for Rumphi Police Tupeliwe Kabwilo has identified the suspect as Collidah Baloyi who was working as a cashier at Chipiku stores.

Kabwilo said Baloyi is suspected of not depositing the money from sales made on March 20 and on 28 March.

The suspect will soon appear before court of law to answer a charge of theft by servant.

Collidah Baloyi is 32 years old hails from Kampupu Village, from Traditional Authority Mwabulambo in Mzimba.
