Malawi no longer safe for refugees

A grouping of concerned citizens has commended government’s decision of reallocating all refugees and asylum seekers to Dazaleka refugee Camp.

This comes as refugees and asylum seekers have been given a deadline of up to 15th April to reallocate to Dzaleka refugees camp.

Precious katema, Wells Khama chairperson for the concerned Citizens said they are delighted with the news to reallocate refugees.

According to Khama now the ball is left in the hands of minister of homeland security Zikhale Ng’oma to make the order fulfilled.

Meanwhile the statement signed by Homeland Minister Zikhale Ng’oma has indicated that at the assigned fourteen day of ultimatum, relocation process by the state will be enforced by Malawi Police Service and the department of Immigration and Citizenship.
