Mutharika cheers flood victims in Thyolo

Former President Peter Mutharika who is also leader of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is today cheering survivors of Cyclone Freddy in Thyolo District.

Addressing cyclone freddy survivors at Chisoka Primary School, Mutharika said he is optimistic that the displaced people will get back to their houses and live a normal life as it was in the past.

Mutharika has since asked President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his Tonse Alliance to bring back the Malata and Cement subsidy.

The former President who is accompanied by the former first lady has since donated maize flour and other assorted items.
