MP Gladys Ganda re-elected as Chair of Budget and Finance

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Nsanje Lalanje Gladys Ganda has been reelected as Chairperson of Budget and Finance Committee of Parliament.

Ganda, a well known seasoned banker, will now serve her forth term as the leader of the committee.

She will be deputized by United Democratic Front (UDF) Member of Parliament for Blantyre City Malabada, Ismail Mkumba.

Writing on her official facebook page after her re-election Ganda hailed her fellow MPs for trusting her again.

“Let me thank the Budget and Finance Committee Members for entrusting me with another year to continue serving Parliament as Chairperson of this Committee. This re election of mine, means a lot to all of us as a Committee.

“My hard work is orchestrated by a collective drive from each and every member of this Committee. My win is a win for all of us as a Committee,” wrote Ganda.
