Environmental experts cheers this year’s tree planting season

One of the country’s environmental experts Mathews Malata has described this year’s tree planting season as a success.

This comes as the country has concluded the exercise which run from 15th December 2022 to 15th April 2023.

Meanwhile authorities have disclosed that the country has planted over 52 million trees thus far.

Malata one of the country’s environmentalist said the exercise has been a success despite facing impact of cyclone Freddy along the way.

Malata has since appealed to the general public to continue safeguarding the trees so that the country can fully go green.
