Castel pumps 7 million kwacha to Lawi

Castel Malawi Limited has pumped in 7 million kwacha to support a music show by an afro-jazz musician, Francis Phiri, well-known as Lawi in music circles,  which is slated for this Saturday in Lilongwe.

The show which will also involve Africa’s music icon Awilo Longomba is to take place at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC).

Regional Sales Manager for Castel Malawi Nkhwachi Mhango,  said the donation is part of the company’s celebration of 21 years since Kuche Kuche beer was introduced.

Meanwhile, Lawi ho heads Malawi Arts, has thanked Castel for supporting the show saying that this will go a long way to prepare for the big show as tickets have sold out in most selling points.
