Chakwera arrives in UK

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has arrived in United Kingdom where he is scheduled to attended the coronation of King Charles the 3rd.

Prince Charles the 3rd will be crowned as King of the United Kingdom and Head of the Commonwealth on Saturday this week.

His wife Camilla will be crowned alongside him as the Queen Consort at a coronation which will take place at Westminster Abbey.

King Charles acceded to the throne on 8 September last year, upon the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.

Chakwera left the country yesterday through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA).
