Zambian Police Investigate Former First Lady Esther Lungu for Alleged Theft

Former Zambian First Lady, Esther Lungu is scheduled to return to the Woodlands Police Station today at 10:30 am, accompanied by her husband, former President Edgar Lungu.
This follows yesterday’s interrogation by the police, where she was accused of stealing a Toyota Runx and a property title from the President’s niece and granddaughters.
The complainants in this case are alleging that Esther Lungu took the car and the property title without their consent, prompting them to report the matter to the police.
Yesterday’s interrogation was a continuation of the ongoing investigation into the alleged theft.
