Traditional Authority Zolokere’ burial underway in Rumphi

Burial ceremony for the body of the late Traditional Authority Zolokere of Rumphi is underway at Zolokere headquarters at Mwazisi, Rumphi.
The local leader died Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Rumphi district hospital after suffering from stroke.
Deputy Minister of local government, unity and culture Owen Chomanika is expected to attend the ceremony.
He was born in 1940 and was installed as TA Zolokere on 11th June, 2020.
He is survived by a wife, 8 children and 32 grandchildren.
