‘I will fight for you and die for you’-Atupele

United Democratic Front (UDF) former President Atupele Muluzi has vowed to die for Malawians.

Muluzi said this at Nyambadwe Ground in Blantyre during a 30th anniversary celebration rally on Sunday afternoon.
Muluzi said that he is dedicated to serving Malawians.

“Ine ndinadzipeleka kutumikira mtundu wa a Malawi. I will fight for you and die for you,” he proclaimed.

Coming to the calls by some youths in the party asking him to consider being a torchbearer of the party in the forthcoming 2025 polls, Muluzi could not come on the open.

“Ntchito yanga ndi kutumikira inu komanso kuonesetsa kuti mukukhala mwa mtendere,” Muluzi said.

Meanwhile, it is yet to be seen if at Atupele will contest in the forthcoming 2025 polls or not.
