Music Icon Tina Turner has died at the age of 83 at her home in Kusnacht near Zürich, Switzerland.
Famed for hits such as “What’s love got to do with it?” and “Hero”, international media reports that she has died after a long illness.
Her publicist confirmed the sad news in a statement to PA, explaining that she suffered a long illness.
‘Tina Turner, the “Queen of Rock’n Roll” has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland,’ it read.
‘With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model.’
Her cause of death has not yet been shared.
