121 inmates across all in the country are sitting this year’s Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations.
National Prison Public Relations Officer, Chimwemwe Shaba confirmed the development saying examinations have started on a good note but appealed to the general public go support prison education with resources.
According to MPS, of the inmates sitting the examinations in various prisons, 12 are at Bvumbwe, 22 in Mzuzu, 21 in Blantyre, 23 in Zomba and 29 in Lilongwe.
Last year, a total of 118 inmates were the ones that sat the examinations.
