Royal family appoints Lawrence Msamange as Acting Traditional Authority Malemia

Malemia royal family has chosen son to late Senior Chief Malemia, Lawrence Msamange, as acting Traditional Authority Malemia of Nsanje for six months.

Family representative, Bingala Tchale, has confirmed the development in an interview with the press.

Nsanje district council spokesperson, Robert Nayeja, said the council is yet to be officially communicated on the same.

Senior chief Malemia succumbed to kidney failure last week Tuesday at Mwaiwathu hospital in Blantyre at the age of 68 and was buried on Saturday.
