Malemia royal family has chosen son to late Senior Chief Malemia, Lawrence Msamange, as acting Traditional Authority Malemia of Nsanje for six months.

Family representative, Bingala Tchale, has confirmed the development in an interview with the press.

Senior chief Malemia succumbed to kidney failure last week Tuesday at Mwaiwathu hospital in Blantyre at the age of 68 and was buried on Saturday.
