Bushiri donates laptop to MUST student Mayamiko Paul

Date:

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has donated a brand new modern laptop to Mayamiko Paul who has been selected to study at Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) in Thyolo District.

Mayamiko is one of the 21 students that Bushiri adopted in 2018 at Mchinji Secondary School and put them on his bursary and he came to inform him that he had been selected to study at Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST).

Speaking after the courtesy visit Bushiri promised to continue supporting Mayamiko and other needy students in the country.

He also said he was delighted to meet Mayamiko for the first time.

“I only read his story online while I was in South Africa that he is intelligent, but he was expelled from school because his mother could not afford school fees,” Bushiri said.

He revealed that, he was touched that’s why he reached out to him.

“I am so happy that he has reached this far which is encouraging and his success has given me more energy to do more,” Bushiri explained.

In his remarks, Mayamiko thanked Prophet Bushiri for assisting him as he urged other Malawians to emulate the same.
Mayamiko has since appealed to other well-wishers to the country to emulate the same.
