Karonga District Hospital Nurses, Support Staff Down Tools

Nurses and support staff at Karonga District Hospital are today staging a sit-in in protest over the management’s alleged failure to address their grievances.

The nurses and support staff are calling for immediate transfer of the District Health Management Team comprising DHSS,DEHO,DNMO, DMO,HR, Transport Officer and Senior Nursing Officer.

Spokesperson for the disgruntled employees, Dunstan Phiri said that they will only return to work once their concerns have been addressed.
