Multichoice snubs MACRA on resumption of DSTV services

Multichoice Africa Holdings says the resumption of Dstv services in Malawi will depend on the outcome of the judicial dispute between them and Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA).

The statement is contrary to a statement released by MACRA last week claiming that Multichoice will resume its services on September 8, 2023.

MultiChoice Africa withdrew provision of DStv services in Malawi last month after MACRA obtained a court injunction stopping MultiChoice Malawi from effecting new tariffs.
