EGENCO employee Dan Tembo collapses to death

One of the top officials at Electricity Generation Company (EGENCO) Daniel Tembo has collapsed to death while on his way to work.

An eye witness has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to this publication.

“Dan Tembo of EGENCO, just collapsed on his way to Nkula this morning, He was driving and felt very hot, stopped his car, He immediately fell down and the Bt water board guys who were driving behind him stopped and picked him to Nkula clinic.

“He stabilized and Egenco decided to take him to Mwayiwathu and sadly he passed on the way and declared dead on arrival,” reads part of the statement.

EGENCO is yet to comment on the matter.
