“OUR BOYS ARE VERY TIRED” – MUNTHALI

The deputy coach of FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, Heston Munthali, said it is not surprising that his team has lost to Civo United because his boys are very tired due to the number of games they are playing.

Munthali said this after the match in which Bullets lost 1-2 at home but the team reached the semifinals of the Airtel Top 8 Cup 3-2 on goal aggregate despite a defeat to Civil Service United at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.

“As we have been saying, our players  are tired every game we are losing players, look today Gome is injured, we are playing 3 games per week and these are bodies they need  to rest but we have no choice.” Munthali said.

The people’s team scored a goal in the first minute through Maxwell Gasten Phodo but Lloyd Aaron converted the penalty before Chifundo Ngapemba converted in the second half.

Bullets will face Blue Eagles in semi Finals.
